Rotterdam/The Hague Airport is developing rapidly. The number of international flights is increasing; the departure and arrival facilities have been modified to meet current demand. Rotterdam is also faster and easier to reach by high-speed rail, such as the Thalys.
The Thalys train services also provide extremely easy and convenient connections to Rotterdam from European cities including Antwerp (30 minutes), Brussels (71 minutes) and Paris (156 minutes), up to ten times a day. Travellers from the UK can take the Eurostar to Brussels and transfer to the Thalys there. Travellers from Germany can get to Arnhem, Utrecht or Amsterdam by ICE International.
