Exhibition space
Ahoy Hall no. 1 offers an excellent exhibition space, with 7,000 m2-reserved space, of which about 1,250 m2 has been allocated for stand building. The floor plan has been designed with the aim of maximizing space around and in front of the various stands for ‘walking and meet and greet areas’. The floor plan lay out has been developed in line with and reflects the forecasted requirements and may be changed in view of the actual demand for stand space and the number of participants.
All standard stands will be built and fully furnished with the basic stand sizes being 9 m2 / 12 m2 / 15 m2. Naturally combinations of these standard sizes are possible. Upon request detailed info can be sent to interested exhibitors.

Exhibitors will receive information about the furniture packages and possibilities for optional add-ons.
Het Comité will allocate stands on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the exhibition area is sold out, it will no longer be possible to handle registrations. We therefore strongly recommend booking stands at your earliest convenience. After February 2011, initial allocation of the various stands will be communicated to the exhibitors registered, including our proposal for the actual space/stand number reservation. Het Comité will provide updated information on this website with regard to the current quantity of stands/space still available.
Space allocation
When it comes to allocation of space we will try at all costs to pay need to the optimum solution for the exhibitors, which will entail an endeavour to optimize the actual mix and match between exhibitors. Requests for stands/space will be dealt with within 48 hours upon receipt of your request. No reservations for stands/space will be honoured without firm commitment and booking/payment. All requests for cancellations or changes have to be submitted to Het Comité in writing and are subject to the acceptance and approval by Het Comité.
Private stands
Private stands can be arranged, though in limited numbers and under specific restrictions, such as maximum floor space and maximum height. Private stands will have to be integrated within the floor plan and “island” positions are not easily available. The pricing for private stand space is subject to negotiation between the individual exhibitors and Het Comité . We strongly recommend exhibitors interested in participating with a private stand at ECE 2011 to contact and address Het Comité before the 15th December 2010.
Meeting tables
During the exchange day we will arrange about 30 meeting tables for companies interested. These will be situated within the main exchange area. The package of a meeting table consists of 1 table and 4 chairs. Meeting tables will be grouped in sets of even numbers. Het Comité will regularly update the current number of meeting tables available on this website.
